Family Camp with Bush Survival skills January 9th - 16th Jan

January holidays are the perfect time to get out in nature and relax with the family.  In the tradition of MySelf Reliance we are not just camping but learning simple survival skills that all the family can get involved with. 

To make it fun and as flexible as possible we are putting aside January 9th -16th for all those who want to join us for all or part of the time.

We will have a survival training program on the Friday and Saturday 13th - 14th then the rest wil be free time. 

We will cover topics such as first aide, fire starting, water procurement, knot tying, direction finding. 

We will be teaching each other so if you have skills in any area of bush survival then please let us know so we can add it to the program.

Things to bring:

Camp gear- 

Tent, campervan, cooking equipment, table, sleeping gear, camp chairs, lights, torches, headlamps, Bedding: air mattress, sleeping bag, blanket, pillow

Clothing , Swimmers, towels, thongs, neck gater, hat, wet weather gear, sunglasses

First aide, insect repellant,  sunscreen, toiletries 

Food, water, sweets - we can eat communially or seperately up to you.

The cost will be $12 per adult per day.  Kids under 15 go free.  Please register so we can add you to a group chat where we will discuss things such as activities for the kids, games, food etc
